Want to know the benefits of Inlays and Onlays?
Inlays or Onlays are partial crowns or custom made filling made in the laboratory. They are more conservative way to restore your teeth without destroying the sound tooth structure. Your dentist may indicate an Inlay Or Onlay depending on how much tooth has been affected by the tooth decay /tooth fracture. Inlays and Onlays can be made of different materials like Porcelain, Composite or Gold. Stop by our office to find out which one is the best for you.
This procedure is done in 2 visits- during the first visit, Dentist removes any old filling/decay from the tooth, he then makes an impression of the tooth to send to the dental lab. he then temporizes your tooth with a temporary filling. The lab takes about 10-14 business day to fabricate your inlay/onlay.
On the 2nd visit, the dentist cements in your final restoration ( inlay/onlay) with the tooth colored cement. he then polishes the tooth to removed any excess cement and check your bite.

The staff is excellent - knowledgable and personable - the facilities are clean and seem pretty up-to-date - I don't have a single complaint. Even for procedures I had to have they couldn't do, I got excellent referrals that were well-explained and had my priorities in mind.Go here, you won't regret it! This then is topped off with a gentle welcoming from the wonderful ladies at the front desk. In my case, it was Diana and Jeanne who helped me from scheduling my first appointment within that same week, to helping me with all the information I needed moving forward for future visits.The smooth transition I received from Diana starting with her sweet smile soon as i stepped in the office to helping me cover all needed questions about my treatment and insurance coverage.I have to say this team was astonishing and had quite a positive experience. I was able to simply speak with the Doctor about any concerns and/or bothers to my teeth and with ease he had answers for all my questions and concerns. I also would like to highly thank the Hygienst- Maryam as she not only had so much patience with me. Dr Zetab is an expert at dental transplants. I have had 4 done. He has all equipment in office from MRIs and some new machines, which makes precision implant, pre design, and leaves little for mistakes. Staff is fantastic. Dr. Hamid Zehtab DMD
Dr. Hamid Zehtab graduated from Oregon Health Sciences School of Dentistry in 1991 and completed a one year general practice residency at Lutheran Medical Center in New York City. He had his private practice for 20 years and decided to move to Southern California in the summer of 2017.
He is certified in many different fields of dentistry, including Invisalign and Laser Dentistry, and keeps up with new technologies by attending many hours of continuing education. Besides cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Zehtab helps patients with sleep apnea. Dr. Zehtab enjoys playing soccer and basketball and spends his free time traveling with his wife and son and enjoying the beaches of Southern California.
